The vertical bars trick is well used, but have you tried white ones instead of black?

Anyway, you're fucking good with this stuff Imp!

Thanks man

I wanted to make it kind of surprising and without ruining the "classic" film look too much. White bars might work better because of higher contrast but it would distract more, I think.
