Agree with Claws I don't think majority of players ( >95% )  have a 4k monitor so fHD will work fine.
Although almost everyone can get upto 2560*1600 virtual resolution but that doesn't look good that too with low refresh rate.

90% of recording and cutting is done. Next step are graphics and effects.
