C l C Garfield Reply #11, 13 years, 9 months agoWell it's simple.
When people know its you, they know what is your gameplay and know how to play against you to win.
But when u ur undercover...well, nobody know shit about you and they try to fing ur identity more than to kill u. Exactly that was when me and Degustator made account's MadeToKill with the same nicks and same outfits, on kill feed it was a looong line of
"MadeToKill massacred ......
MadeToKill killed...
MadeToKill smg'ed...
MadeToKill...
MadeToKill...
etc..."
And it scares people a lot, so they just try to avoid you and do think hard who are u, and not trying to kill you.
Haha, I remember when me and Degustator were on our normal acc's and we talked to some of You ISI in private match, u were complaining and talkin "MadeToKill are some kind of hacks, its not possible to play like that"
And this is how it works -

Haha yeah, undercovering was not so much used at that time, so I always thought of "newcomers" as cheaters (rather than undercovers).
Now when I see some new name pwning I give 3 options: "lagger, cheater or undercover" (or maybe all three things together )...

Imperial Reply #13, 13 years, 9 months agoIt's even a double boost. One side is the effect that Garfield described. The other side is your own way of thinking while being undercover:
You know that your enemies are busy thinking about your identity and can't really focus on the match. Meanwhile you can fully concentrate on the match without spending time chatting and therefore you don't lose your kill rhythm.
Solution to play good without being on an undercover account: Don't spend time on chatting, focus on the game and don't care about your enemy's name.
Also stop finding excuses for a bad performance on your side. In 90% of the cases it has nothing to do with lags or cheating but solely your own suckiness. -
